What we do

Structured support for
your kind of day.

Individualised 1:1 support can include community access, confidence-building, practical life skills and social participation. Genuine interests shape the engagement, while participant goals and support needs shape the plan.

Our Support Services

Support that starts
with the person.

Formal support categories provide a clear starting point. The way support looks in practice is shaped around participant goals, interests, access needs and choice.

01

Community Access & Participation

Helping participants engage with their community, attend activities and develop confidence outside the home.

02

Confidence & Independence

Practical support designed to help participants make decisions, navigate the community and complete everyday activities.

03

Practical & Automotive Skills

For participants with an interest in cars or hands-on activities, automotive interests can become a practical pathway for engagement and skill development.

04

Interest-Led Support

Support sessions built around activities that genuinely engage the participant.

Experience Inspiration

See how support
can come to life.

Driven Support uses participant interests, goals and suitable events happening across South East Queensland to shape meaningful community-based experiences.

Rather than offering the same outing to everyone, we look at what the participant genuinely enjoys and build support around that.

Examples below are for inspiration only and are subject to participant suitability, venue schedules, support requirements, insurance, risk assessment and availability.

Sensory environment is a general guide only. Noise, crowds and activity levels can change depending on the event. Individual suitability is discussed before an outing.

How we plan experiences

Thoughtful planning
before the outing.

Possible activities are considered against the participant’s interests, goals, preferred pace, access needs and the practical conditions of the day.

01

See what’s happening

We consider suitable automotive, outdoor and community activities across South East Queensland, subject to venue schedules and availability.

02

Match the experience

We consider the participant’s interests, goals, support needs, preferred pace, sensory preferences and transport requirements.

03

Build the day

The outing may include transport, breakfast or lunch, Cars & Coffee, motorsport events, photography, Trackside Learning, practical automotive skills, community activities, breaks and social participation.

04

Confirm before booking

Before an outing proceeds, Driven Support confirms event availability, venue requirements, support arrangements, participant suitability, transport, costs, safety considerations and insurance requirements.

The event is only one part of the day. The support plan is built around the participant.

Planning for the day

Know What to Expect.

For higher-stimulation activities, participants can be given clear information beforehand about what the environment may involve.

Preparing in advance can make unfamiliar environments feel more predictable and comfortable without making support feel clinical or complicated.

01

Environment

Noise level, crowd density, walking requirements, seating, toilets, shade, weather exposure and quiet areas.

02

Access & transport

Accessibility, transport arrangements, where to meet and what the participant may need to bring.

03

Choice & flexibility

The activity shape, sensory load, planned breaks and whether leaving early is possible if needed.

04

Individual context

Participant-specific risks, communication preferences, support needs and any practical details to discuss beforehand.

Flexible by design

Plans change.
Support doesn’t have to.

Outdoor activities can be affected by weather, event cancellations, crowds or changing participant needs. Where possible, Driven Support plans suitable alternatives so the day can still remain productive and enjoyable.

  • Simulator sessions
  • Indoor automotive activities
  • Car-care sessions
  • Automotive photography or content activities
  • Pre-arranged garage or workshop visits where appropriate
  • Local community activities
  • Low-sensory alternatives
  • Practical life-skills activities

Alternative activities are discussed with the participant and, where relevant, their family, nominee or support team. Venue and workshop access is always subject to prior arrangement and availability.
